Recently purchased Corrosion X to treat engine rust from saltwater spray. Any general feedback or experience with this product for removing existing rust o engine and trailer axle/hub?

Get the rust off with a wire brush or wheel, or something with Hydrofluoric acid or equivalent. I've had luck with toilet bowl cleaners for light rust and salt buildup. THEN use Corrosion X or Corrosion X HD. The HD will stay on your trailer parts six months, even launching in salt water. It'll stay soft and will come off on your hands if you touch it. I buy mine at H E B in the fishing section. TexasJim
