I was kinda joking about meeting at the boat ramp, as we have a tornado watch in place right now. I think the bite may be on as: i) The creeks will be washing food into the lakes ii) The water temp should be rising Honestly though, I'm new to this game so only going by what I have heard. I would be interested to hear what others have to say. That said the lakes are really low, so any extra water is most welcome!

I’m heading out in the morning on Lewisville. I always try to fish after a heavy rain this time of year!

I would love to be on the water this morning. Where that fresh water is flowing into the lake should be loaded with fat lazy cats looking for an easy meal. We definitely need a couple more inches than what we got. I'm sure it's coming though.

We barely got enough to water the grass here in Lewisville. Lake came up .04 inches.

Cedar Creek is showing up only 0.1".
Hoping for more rain - less storms, soon.

Just when TVA was reducing the water release (89 today going to 61) we got 3" of rain on Tuesday. Probably be back to 110 by Saturday.
Boats are like Strippers. They work until you quit throwing $100 bills at them.

Another dump here last night and the water level on Lavon, my local lake, continues to rise albeit slowly.
