I have been trying to catch gizzard shad from the bank with my castnet for the last few months. I've gotten lucky here and there but I am looking to get better at it and want to have a discussion with someone who is willing to talk to me about it. I've been going to white rock creek lately but I also know lewisville is loaded with them. I could really use some help.

They aren't in my normal spots yet at Lavon. I usually don't start catching them though for about another month or so. I'm not sure where they are when water is still pretty cold. I don't have a boat so I have to wait for them to come to shallows.
