I never knew there were whites on meadow lake. Interesting. I have taken my old Skeeter and my current haynie all the way up to Starcke dam several times, but LMB fishing or just messing around. May have to check it out for whites this year
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

There is whites on MF/Meadows Lake. I used to fish below Wirtz and caught whites. But just when they were generating.

@billyfish I've been watching the LCRA release reports, and Starcke hasn't been doing much releasing at all. But Travis is high enough that they might have a straight shot to the dam during the run.

^^^Not talking about releasing water. But generating, water. That is when they used to make power off the dam. They dont do it much anymore, if ever. Since they put the power plant on LBJ, The water was warm coming off the turbines, I am an old and that was years ago, LOL

It used to have RR iron rails going down the hill and it had a cart that used to go up and down by electricity and you paid a $1.00 to ride for 24 hours. And there was a store at the top.

so there was an honest-to-goodness funicular at the dam? run by a vendor or LCRA? Which side of the river was it on? I may head over to that area when the run starts up, scout out any remnants.
