Thinking to plan a trip down to the middle bosque with the kids to fish for sandbass out of the kayak. Any advice..thinking to put in by the golf course and paddle up the river...anyone with experience?

That’s a bummer …any advice on where a kayak would be a good choice to get on them?

In the middle the fish can’t make it past the gravel bar before the bluffs. And below at the split I only saw 3 fish caught yesterday evening.

I tried the South Bosque and Middle Bosque on Saturday. They were both very low with no flow. I didn't find any fish in the South Bosque. I caught 5 white bass in the Middle Bosque but only because they were chasing shad in the cove area.

Wow! I didn't realize how low things were...use to live in Woodway, but now up in Keller. Guess I'll have to go back to the drawing board.

You might want to go to the Navasota rive just out of Groesbeck. The biggest whites I ever got was there and it a great place for Yak's
