Tuesday I fished the back of Little Caney for about 3 hours. Got there about 10 am and fished crank baits going in. I fished a 6th Sense Clout 5.4 in the timber of a cut that runs into the main creek. There were a lot of boats in the back of of the creek. Had one break off and the wind came up up at 1:00 pm. It was a beat down trying to get back up to Popes Landing from the south end of the lake. With the lake down, probably half of the ramps are closed which means the ramps that are open are really busy. Popes was full. Didn't see any beds. Just mud and tree stumps.
Regards, Bart

I fished a team tournament on Fork a couple of weekends ago and we tried to go back as far as we could into Little Caney trying to get out of the wind and get away from other fishermen. we got away from the wind but spent most of the day with at least 6 boats and sometimes a lot more within 100 yards of us. I was having fuel system issues and decided to stick it out where we were. We came back down toward the main lake and fished some, but we got the few bites we had in the cove south of Hidaway Harbor.

I would imagine that so many people watched the Elite Final in 2021 that area would turn out like that.
