Actually we will never understand how good you had it with unpressured lakes and rivers.

Very true but the TPWD in my opinion is doing a great job of not only restocking the name brands but if you look off the beaten path you can find some amazing fishing no one cares about! Tournament pressure and popularity of bass fishing have stressed a lot of these fisheries! Ivie is one of my favorite places in the world but I haven’t been there in 2 years because of the noteriety and pressure! TPWD deserves kudos there and many others thru out the state!

This is truest statement of all!
Being a child of the 70's and 80's we had so many good lakes that you just went to and caught fish with a worm, jig or spinner bait.
