Couldn’t get help BP today so thought I’d ask the experts. Currently running 3-12 volt (31s) for my MinnKota and 2-12 volt (27s) for cranking and electronics. Neither sets maintain very well on a full day.

Trolling Motor

Question 1: Do I need to use 50 or 100 amp
Question 2: Other space and ease of wiring, is there an advantage to a single 36v over 3-12volts

Cranking and Electronics
Question 1: Should I use Lithium for cranking, I read in another thread that it’s not recommended for a Merc. If, so what size. I plan on 1-12v 100amp for electronics.

Low Temp Charging
Question 1: Since it doesn’t routinely get very cold for very long in Texas, and the fact that I don’t routinely fish when very cold, do I need to spend the extra $$ for a low temp battery.
Question 2: If low temp isn’t a must for me, what’s the thought on batteries from Amazon? Has anyone got experience with any of these batteries. $2000+ for batteries seem a bit much.

Call or email this guy, it’s easier than us writing 3 pages.
