How safe are the boat lanes right now on Fork, given the low water? Mainly concerned with the SRA marked lanes and the Lance Vick Boat Lanes

Some are safe, some are sketchy. Keep your head on a swivel, look for close timber, hug the buoys/lines and you'll PROBABLY be fine.
There are spots that are shallow or have timber close to a bouy/turn. Use your head, and if in doubt on the circumstances surrounding a run, SRA marked or not, then idle.

Buoyed lanes are fine. Most of the “guide lanes” I run we’re also fine, still idled them the first time to make sure. would not recommend running the “neck down” area of Little Caney . I did it and survived but that’s one crazy tight run! Idled it on the way out. Lol. Set your depth offset on your graph, use common sense, and you’ll be fine. Good luck, catch a toad!

Did they put up the floating "Shallow Water" billboards near Chigger Ridge yet?

I was out there in December with a brand new copy of the Lance Vick boat lanes. I ran from Lake Fork Marina to the 154 bridge and then all the way to the back of Caney Creek and then back out to Lake Fork Marina. Main lake boat lane is fine. In and out of Lake Fork Marina and Caney Creek was ok but as some have said there is some now shallow timber VERY CLOSE to the boat lanes. Keep your eyes open and stay right on the trail. I don't have info on any where else.

Many of the SRA bouys are not in the correct places. I have heard a couple reports of a stump by one of the bouys in the main run between the power line and Wolfe that has taken two lower units. I do not know the exact location but there is a bouy there that has moved close to the Wolfe side of the run. If you go to the Wolfe side of it you will put yourself at risk. Also some of us do not run the bouys like a highway because we know they are out of place so follow the water navigation rules/laws versus being “right” and running the bouys like a white line on the highway. I ran the “guide” run from big mustang to 515 and to the boat lane out from Dale multiple times this weekend past week with no issues. However the runs have tightened down and you need to stay right on them. Now is the time to get out and make your own runs if you are local. As for the fishing……..two days in the sleet left me asking why I was doing this. It was tough last week best day was three fish close to 20 lbs only had three fish each day over four days on the lake but missed a bunch, bite was funky, and size was in the 3-7 lb range. Thursday the warmest water I found was 57. I didn’t go into Little Caney or up the East arm past 154. Good luck

Most dangerous: Mid-section of Little Caney
Dangerous: Mouth of Williams Mouth of Big Mustang Mouth of Dale, heck all of Dale. Chicken ridge Mouth of Little Mustang especially Stump @ 32 50.732 N, 95 36.706 W Stump near SRA buoys front of Moccasin @ 32 52.777 N, 95 36.739 W
Shallow: SRA entrance into Dale Running Creek roadbed Heartbreak ridge Chigger ridge Submerged Bridge @ 32 55.704 N, 95 30.053 W Submerged Bridge @ 32 56.011 N, 95 30.273 W (maybe)
And Don't run at a 5ft exposed stump thinking it's a dirty SRA buoy.
I've been running Vick's new Fork PRO lanes with luck so far, but on the line, but idling where I know to idle.
