If the unit is for Livescope use only, Is there a big difference between the two? Is the value added worth it?
Thanks in advance.

The 1022 has the latest chipset in the head units and has better processing capabilities per Garmin rep in support department.

I went from a 93 to the 102 and honestly didn’t feel the difference was worth the spend.
I did then get a 122 and the 12 inch was to me a better return. FWIW
I’d love to have an 8616 but doubt I will spend that loot.
Add , also only use for LS I have a diff brand for other 3 units
