I recently moved from DFW to Conroe. Anyone know of good Crappie fishing in the area? I've tried Lake Conroe in the past with no luck so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

Conroe is a good crappie lake and so is Lake Houston......I guide on both and do well putting fish in the boat..... Structure is the key and now during their spawning period shallow areas with structure is what I'd be looking for.....

Thank you SK! I didn't know the spawn started already. I figured that last cold front would've put it off another week.
