I stopped by around 2pm and they had the walls down.

So if they close down fishing in the slips where do I go next? Already had that happen at Grapevine some years ago, Don't own a boat!

Not hardly any places left in the metro anymore. Unfortunately, it is a matter of time before they stop it at LC too.

Just a little bit south of DFW is High View Marina at Lake Bardwell, outside of Ennis. Great Marina with lots of different areas of dock to fish. They have a well stocked tackle house with all the great crappie jigs you need.

Guess I wasn't clear. Not looking for crappie houses. Either bank fishing or another spot on a slip somewhere. Thanks.

Can you still walk down past the boat docks and bank fish under the bridge on JP? Or do that have that blocked off.

You can bank fish in the state park and also several places in Loyd Park but those both cost to get in. You can walk a fair bit up the creek by the boat ramp in Loyd Park. Britton Park i think is free but i'm not sure how the bank access and fishing is down that way.

That's all I know of.

When in doubt, set the hook.

You can but you are "not supposed to" They will run you off if you try and fish towards the marina there
