Hello everyone haven't posted in awhile so I thought I would share my winter catches with y'all off the Buffalo. I hooked into a 40 lb blue cat caught it off of gizzard shad that I've been cast netting lately turns out they make great bait for big catfish bowfin and gar aswell. also hooked into an alligator snapping turtle had to be every bit of 100lbs and gave me about a 20-minute fight damn near didn't get it on shore. can't wait for the mid-march bowfin and gar spawning reels will be screaming......
