I know you have a lot of high end equipment so I believe you. I wish I could afford a NRX and metanium or Steez!

I buy high end stuff used in good condition if I can find it. I am a tackle nut. I have high end equipment and also everything else. I use a $100 rod every time I am on the water because I really like the rod. It is a Japan made rod. I like testing out equipment to see if the reviews are correct. I have over 148 rod and reel combos. I know, I am a tackle nut, but I don't golf or hunt so I don't spend money on those things. Just fishing #1, #2 would be tools because I am an aircraft mechanic. and #3 pistols because I grew up on a farm and dad and I used to shoot all the time. Bullets were a lot cheaper back then.

roflmao

You must be a hell of an aircraft mechanic! I’m in the same industry. I’m the guy who orders your parts and fixes the shops F-ups. I started telling the guys on the floor I’m going to start walking around with a roll of toilet paper!

Some of my best friends are aircraft mechanics. cheers

Sounds like we need you at Southwest Airlines. LOL BTW my kids are grown so it is just me and the wife working and she doesn't mind me spending money on fishing equipment because she is into photography and camera bodies and lenses are expensive so she trys to stay up with me. LOL

I’ll whip y’all into shape!

Back to the reel. I’m going to try both. Appreciate the input.

Seems like a Curado BFS would be a great option for weightless baits.

I switched to a Tatula Elite 8.1 and an ALX Axiom rod.
Amazing combo for this, my favorite, presentation.

Curado 70MGL easily, I have them on squarebill rods, weightless rods, top water rods, swimjigs, wacky worm/shaky head

This is my favorite these days.. the handle is a dark green. After you get used to the sound.. it sounds great! A lot smoother retrieve than the curado k in my opinion... use both.

Garcia Revo MGX 8:1 primary reel for weightless and Garcia Revo Rocket 10:1 also works very well.

I just got the Shimano 150 MGL, time to test it out against the Daiwa Tatula SV TW this weekend.
