We had another epic day of Trophy Blue Cat’n! 900 lbs of Big Blues in the boat on today’s livestream! Thank you everyone who’s been watching and subscribing to the channel. It was really cool to have so many friends watching and chiming in! We caught our first fish 5 minutes in and the chaos lasted all day. We had a 7 fish takedown and managed to boat 6 of them! We had another 6 big fish takedown and get em all in the boat. Countless double and triple big fish today. Big fish went 47 and 44 with a handful of 40s. Tons of 30s and 20s today. We missed 20 big fish or the numbers would be ridiculous! Todays trip put us well over 100 fish over 20 lbs since January first. Bill Killer Bee will be producing the video and it’s going to be epic!!

It was an amazing video to watch! I watched a bunch of it live throughout the day, and Chris and Bill were really on the fish!

900 pounds... That's insane. Think about how many big fish you pulled baits through to actually boat 900 pounds... I really think Lavon is the new Tawakoni. Just don't tell anybody...

Chris, that brings a whole new meaning to epic! It was an incredible day out there. You know the bite was good when I can boat a bunch of fish lol. It was crazy to be watching the livestream and then see and hear you guys hollering (which was pretty much all day!). Sorry to come and move right in on your line yesterday but, based on some intel we had, that was the exact drift we had game-planned for. I saw the War Machine so I picked up my phone and signed into YouTube right when you guys caught your first fish. Within five minutes I had my first takedown. It was great fun and extremely humbling because even though I did well, it's clear to me now....you are definitely on another level! When the bite slowed, I moved east of our line to scan for fish and 20 minutes later, you guys had 5 more fish in the boat over 20 pounds! Way to go brother! Keep showing everyone what you're made of!

Thanks my friends! I’m sore as all get out today and feel like I’ve been run over by a truck. Glad we had one last rodeo before we have to change tactics and dust off the anchors. Looking foreword to doing some Flathead fishing this spring and getting back to my roots where I first caught the big fish bug. It won’t be easy but it’s gonna be fun! It’s time to get all my fishing lights in order and string up all my anchor rods.

Geno, your welcome to come fish next to me anytime buddy. I wish you would have come said hello and set up next to us so we could yell back and forth. We ended up moving off that line when the bite slowed and moved further south when you moved east. I saw the birds working down by the dam and the small sandbass were pushing bait up and boiling all around us. Wish we had birds like that on Lewisville to help locate fish, but the dump being in such close proximity, the majority of the seagulls are on the trash piles.

Thanks for that Chris! It was crazy, when I moved East, I immediately started marking good fish so I set my boards out and within 3 minutes I got a 16 pounder and thought it was about to turn back on! Twenty minutes later, I hadn't got another bite and you guys were on your 5th fish over 20 pounds SINCE I MOVED! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You guys were in the zone and running like a well oiled machine! I get excited thinking about the future because I know what the possibilities are. I'm a little bummed that toad season is winding down though. My wife is ready to start crappie fishing and I'm like, are we really going to basically fish for bait-sized fish for the rest of the year??!!! I just want to feel that tug. I guess every now and then I'm gonna have to go down to the corner and cast a hook into a busy intersection and latch onto a bumper just to keep myself entertained. I'm so hooked now it's all I think about. What have you guys done to me?!!

Big thanks to all you guys that took the time to comment and congratulate me on our best trip of the season. Silence from the other guys speaks volumes. It’s easy to see who my friends are on this forum and I certainly won’t forget that. Much respect my friends. I appreciate you guys and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with each other.

Folks are prolly just busy Chris, I wouldn't think too much into it man.

I would bet that is probably the biggest haul of fish Lavon has ever seen, so almost certainly a record in itself. Many of us were thinking about the 500 pounds on your previous trip out there, and trying to get our heads around that. Then you almost doubled it. Dang!

For us mere mortals and especially us n00bs, man I'm happy to get a teener or two in the boat when I can. Skunks still occur but thankfully fewer these days.

This week I'm off to RayBob, and will be happy to get any fish in my boat!!
