Need some tips and tricks to get a box open. Water was rough and the items inside shifted blocking the latch. I cant get it to turn at all. TIA

Hook up to it and accelerate and stop really hard and try it. that should move everything. If it don't keep trying.

Dang, you get to the spot and i bet the lure you need is in that box. This tells us you have too much stuff in there. I think sometimes that my locker with plano boxes is a puzzle. It's like tetris trying to get everything back into the locker. The truck brake idea is a good tip, let us know what you finally did to get in.

First check to see if the compartment is locked. Use the key.
- If it is not locked; try turning the latch with a wrench or vice grip pliers.
- Sometimes the set screw will strip and allow you to unscrew the Elbow locking device.
- Then resort to a Shingle Bar. It has the right curve to pop the elbow latch past the lip of the box.
- There will be a little damage either to the elbow or the fiberblass lip. Both can be fixed.

Drop your boat off to the nearest meth house...they'll get it open.

All joking aside...had this happen in my old Nitro. Was on trip and had an asshat swerve and slam on brakes in front of me. I slammed on my brakes which caused gear to shift and slam around. Low and behold my life vest got wedged with my net. I didn't realize until I got to the ramp and had unloaded. I went out on the water hammer down and made a few quick turns. That moved it just enough to get it open where I could lift it 1/4" and push things back with a punching rod.

Dangerous and dumb all in one.
