Sometimes what didn't work out for you, did in fact, work out for you.

Haters going to hate and believers are going to believe.

Every man has two lives,The second one starts when he realizes that he has only one.

I picked up Four Roses Small Batch over the holidays and like it a lot. I think it was $35.00ish. Eagle Rare is hard to get. My liquor store got a couple bottles in a month or so ago. He charged me $50. It's probably my favorite right now. I think the Eagle Rare should be in the $40ish range but has a lot of hype right now and places can charge whatever and get it.

It should be 29 bucks, bourbon is out of control.

I have seen it on shelves for 80. I can tell you we are paying the same as we always have plus or minus a buck or 2. Liquor stores are doing one of 3 things with this stuff. 1. Marking it up about 3 or 4 times because people will pay it, 2. keeping it in back room for best customers, 3. Those that sell to bars allot it to certain establishments as a rewards/incentive to buy from them. I believe I'm paying 29 a bottle and we dont get much break from msrp on liquor. The fancy bourbon game is full on stupid at this point. Truly im shocked at what some will pay for a drink of the stuff. I had a couple guys come in like kids in a toy store recently. They ran up a 400 dollar tab drinking their way through different stuff I have. That sounds great and all for me but something about it bothered me. The stuff is good but it ain't that good.

Nailed it, the store pick is running $88 down here, I laughed at them. I can find ER for $38-$44 and I'm fine with that. Unfortunately everything I enjoy has gone allocated in the last 5+ years. Covid didn't help at all with the prices, and I sure hate the secondary market
