Did anyone else see the bay boat with a stump stuck thru the bottom of it yesterday? I felt terrible for the guy and tried to help but there was nothing we could do. We tried to pull him off of it with two boats, forward, backward and sideways. Boat was in too deep of water to get in and do anything. Pretty sure he had a long gash in the bottom, not just a hole. Possum cops came out and did an incident report and told them if it wasn’t gone by the next morning he would get a fine.

How do you handle a situation like this? Does someone like BoatUS have a crane mounted on a barge????

What would the fine be for?
Did the police leave with him still in the boat?
Seems like they would have move the passengers to safety and dealt with the wreckage.

They took him and his wife to the boat ramp and dropped them off, told them there were some people that could help them but it was costly. I’m not sure what ended up happening because I had to get on the road. I think the fine is for some kind of EPA [censored], fuel in the boat etc.

Now that’s a bad day, I was expecting to see an old POS, not something with a new Yami on it.

They will air bag it to get it off the stump.

4-6 truck inner tubes would do it, then you have to get it to a ramp with a hole in it. bummer for them.
