Recently mounted a New to me 12" Gen 3 on the front console of my skeeter. I am running an Ultrex with the US2 bult in transducer. I have the MKR-US2-10 adapter from my previous unit. I can not get the 2-D sonar to work for the life of me. It shows the depth reading as well as the time, but does not show the water temp. (all these were added and are on the screen)
I have gone through and selected just about every possible transducer in their set up menu. Unknown/ Unknown 83/200/ Univeral 83/200 etc.
The bottom readings I am getting are complete junk. Bottom is just a light red blotchy pattern with no definition.
Unit has been updated to the newest update.
What else can I try besides a hard/soft reset (have not done that yet)
Trying to keep from having to mount another transducer to the TM. Built in Transducer worked flawlessly with the adapter on my LCX model.

Is there a temp sensor in the us2? The correct transducer type for the us2 is Generic 83/200, Check the Data Source for Temp.

Under Data Sources what is checked for Sonar and Temp? Make Sure the Sonar is set to Local, Is Internal Sonar Turn On? Is there a source on the sonar screen menu? if so should be set to this unit. Unless the previous owner named it. Then use that name.

Well i think i have it fixed. Won’t be able to lake test it till Saturday though. Working in the house on it right now since its sleeting outside, But went and hooked it up to a battery and hooked it up to an extra transducer but i went and Restored everything back to Default settings in the systems menu.
Then went back and added the overlays back to the separate pages i wanted. Time and voltage has always worked, but now the temp is working and seems like the depth is as well now. Nice to have a 3’ deep fish tank handy.
Thanks again for the help Larry!

So it ended up just being a glitch, crazy. Well think about what your IT department says to do anytime you have a computer issue. Gotta Reboot every now and then. I guess this one just wanted a full CTL/ALT/DELETE
