The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our first members only tournament of the year on Sunday February 13th on Lake Ray Hubbard. The decision to move the tournament from cold and very windy Saturday to Sunday proved to be the right one as the weather started cold but ended up sunny and mild. It was typical winter time fishing especially on Ray Hubbard. Getting bites was tough but as always out there a few select teams were rewarded with the right bites. 32 teams fished with us. When weigh in was finished, the team of Keith Taylor and Chadd Dearen won going away with a monster bag of 26.81 pounds! Big bass of the event however went to the team of Clark Crenshaw and Roddy Bieber with an 8.22 monster. Here are full results and pictures

Returning to RHBC after a long time away, Jason Fagan and son Jayce just missed the money with three for 10.92

Another long time member returning to the fold, Tony Crawford fishing with wife Stacy got 6th place with a limit for 15.91



5th place went to Bruce and John Anderson with a stout bag that weighed 18.72



Their kicker weighed 5.59



If you fished the Tuesday nighters back in the early days, when Casey or Kevin were running them, you lost to this guy and his previously mentioned partner Tony Crawford a lot. RHBC members got our tail kicked by them regularly as well. Jeremy McLeroy and Cody Stewart weighed five for 18.98 for fourth place



Their big bass weighed 6.48



Third place went to one of those guys you have to worry about when you fish Ray Hubbard. Doug Rener fished with Chris Pace and they weighed a good limit of 19.68



Second place went to Clark Crenshaw and Roddy Bieber who just missed the 20 pound mark with five for 19.90



Anchoring their bag was big bass of the tournament, an 8.22 giant



Another team that will flat out whip you in any event on Ray Hubbard is Keith Taylor and Chadd Dearen. They whipped us all with a huge bag that weighed 26.81! Congratulations guys!
