Went to take the boat on its first voyage. Started up and let it warm up good. Suddenly started shaking like crazy and shut off. Then isnstruggled to start. When it did start it would idle for about 10 seconds then shake and shut off again. What the heck!?!?!?

Man, a bad fuel pump on a brand new engine? Doubtful it’s a fuel pump or it wouldn’t be restarting. Fuel restriction as in bad or pinched fuel line.

check filters as well, being new there may have been some junk in the tank that got sucked up into a filter.
if you have an external tank you can hook up that would tell you a lot.

Agree, sounds like a fuel availability issue.
Maybe something as simple as the gas tank isn’t properly vented?

It was also sounding a continuous alarm for about 10 seconds after start up. Boat is headed back to dealer tomorrow.
