I have a 95 P2, want to install 2 bucket seats in it. Question/concern is. To attach the back part of seat I would have to put screws in it.My question is i guess boat specfic. Iam afraid if attached like this it seems l like i will be putting screws into livewell, Not Good. Hope someone here has possibly been down this road, with same make/ model. Thanks for any help.

Unless Iām not understanding, bucket seats fold down and are only attached at the bottom.. maybe post a pic of what your trying to do.. he has 2 pc seats. you should have a space between the livewell and where you will screw in the bracket. I have a 95 champion 202 and same seat set up and have about 2" between livewell and where the seat mounts. I would suggest pop rivets for the seat back bracket, they won't go near as deep as a screw and won't vibrate out.

just put a depth stop on the drill bit at about 1/2" and you will should be fine.
