Since it's been too windy to fish Amistad, we headed south and fished part of the Nueces. We launched and fished in front of the boat ramp and caught a few bass. Fished there for a while then headed up river. The wind blew harder and the bite got hotter. We caught lmb, bluegill, redbreast, coppernose a really nice channel cat. He looked like he had on a tux. We also caught crappie some had there tux on. There was a few crappie dinks in the mix.
Once we got into the river channel, the trees blocked some of the wind.
















All fish caught on JIGLYF jigs and released to swim another day.

Yes sir. You know we didn't even turn on any electronics. The water feels cold though.
