I have carpet inside my port/starboard rod lockers. Does anyone have a suggestion for a roll-on or spray-on (rubber?) coating? I would want it to be somewhat soft.

Be safe,

the rustoleum pro bed liner would be good, clean with acetone and I would put 2-3 thick coats on.

be sure to get the pro type, it sprays and dries a lot better than the regular. it now comes in clear as well as black.
