Sure, wish we had more water, but it really did not affect the fishing today for the "haves". As opposed to the have-nots. Generally, the have nots are mostly the co-anglers and that depends on how successful their boaters are. For mid-February the weather was pretty darn good with some cloud cover starting at about 40 and rising to 70 by quitting time at 3 PM. By the results it looks like the big girls are starting to show up. Water temps in the high 40's.
All fish 10" and up are keepers. Only the best 5 count.
Boaters
First Place went to Don Overstreet of Sulphur Springs with 5 bass for 21.66 LB with a 5.49 lunker.
Second Place went to Dennis Bubinas of Lake Fork with 7 bass for 20.43 with a 7.41 lunker.
Third Place went to Randy Bunch of Lake Fork 4 bass for 17.44 LB. which is the 7.81 LB boater lunker.
Fourth Place went to Dusty Newton of Van (with his first win) of 3 bass for 15.71 LB with a 7.41 lunker.
Fifth Place went to Tim Gold of Mineola with 3 bass for 9.74 LB with a 4.31 lunker.

First Place went to Tom Whitrock of Lake Fork with 2 bass for 6.73 LB with a 5.28 LB. is the co-angler lunker.
Second Place went to Alf Tuggle of Scroggins with 2 bass for 5.23 LB. with a 3.78 LB lunker.
third Place went to Scott Powell of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 4.67 LB with a 2.13 LB lunker.
Fourth Place went to Rick Wright of Rowlett with 1 bass for 3.87 LB.
Fifth Place went to Jackie Price of Alba with 1 bass for 2.88 LB.
So, we thought 17 caught the last time was really bad. This week we managed 49 keepers with only 7 skunks.
The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts, we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 59+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues. Even though we are practicing social distancing and wearing masks, we have about 8 sitting out from Covid exposure (down from 20),
