Which line do you prefer for your spinning reel when finesse fishing?

15 or 20 lb P Line TCB with 8-12 lb fluro leader. Lighter than many on here but I fish some very clear water.

If I am fishing spinning gear its always going to be 10 pound test or less. Its always going to be mono. And 75% of the time its going to be a fluro leader of the same diameter.

I use the same 20, but might vary the leader from 6-12, depending on the rod and presentation.

Anywhere from 2-10ft of flouro is great for drop shots, small swim baits, wacky worm, etc…

The length of the rod. So the knot doesn’t get caught in the spool. Alberto knot works best. Tag ends VERY close to the knot.

This for sure!!! You absolutely do not want your knot to go all the way to the spool. First time I did leaders I didnt know this and when I went to cast the line hung up on the knot and the lure smacked me right in the face.

Thanks, I was going to ask myself...Truly a leader, not a split spool...

Makes sense, because I losee alot of distance on spinning rods.

I'll change it up and see if I can get more!
