That is really cool! I'm trying to understand how the new technology works and REALLY trying to understand how I'm looking at a sideways (horizontal 2d) image of something when in reality it is out in front of me. what i mean is as the bait is being brought back to the boat the view on the graph looks as if you are outside the boat on the side of it watching the action from the sidelines. does that make sense? how does the graph do that and how long does it take for your brain to realize that no, you're actually watching the bait come back to you now goes past you sideways?
I didn't lose him at the boat. I shook him off cause I didn't want my hands to get "fishy"

The simple way to understand is with a reference. The upper left-hand corner where that angle line is that's where you are standing. Whatever image object or moving target is either moving to you are away from you all in front of you on front image which this is. Within a couple of hours on the water your brain adapts as long as you understand and train your brain the truth, LOL Enjoy
