The first one is of a fish catch. 3/8 ounce football jig at 50’. The new color limit setting is at zero TVG off, noise reduction medium. I like running my screen a little hotter. Before the update in this depth of water the highest I could run the gain was maybe 63 now as you can see it’s at 74.

The second clip is perspective mode. Some over on the BBC wanted to see what it looks like with new update so I made a clip showing the color palettes. As a bass fisherman I like the new update . Enjoy

I like the update too. My perspective looks a little crisper. I also put 5 degrees of down at the mount.

Here’s another clip from the same day as above. I think this was young timber that was flooded out. TVG off, noise reject medium, ghost reject auto, color gain default and the new color limit setting zero. Pre update 48 to 55 gain (depending on conditions) was the max limit in 9’ of water. Now 71. Pre update 71 would have had my screen full of clutter in 40’ of water let alone 9’. Early in the clip you’ll see a carp pop into cone (you can see its side fins hanging down) and at the end of the clip you can my rod going into the water trying to get unhung.

You should try the old school or lowrance blue.

Also I see you have the 8616 ….jealous wonder how the 122 will do w update
