Going this weekend to pick up a new to me Hobie and want to head up to Texoma once or twice a month. Are there any of you guys who frequent up there? I know the lake decently well, but am always looking to learn more and share what I know. If anyone is interested in tagging along when I go, shoot me a message.

What are you fishing for? I go up there a couple times a year and fish for mainly Striper.

Congrats on the new to you kayak. Thank you, sir. Too good of a deal on this one to pass up. I'll be driving down to Houston from Plano Saturday morning to grab it. Pretty excited that it's an unmolested clean slate. It'll allow me to do whatever I want to it without having to worry about the previous owner's work.

I recently sold my 2020 Hobie Outback a couple of months ago. I'm picking up a new PA14 360 here in a week or so.

I used to go quite a bit till work got in the way, lol! I plan to change that this year, btw! Anyway, I like putting in at Eisenhower and going around the point and down to the dam area, although that hasn’t been the most productive. Otherwise I put in at East Burns run and hang around that area and down to the dam, sometimes going around the point to the south and checking out the west side. Pedal drive is the game for chasing stripers, even though they’ll still give you the slip pretty frequently! Remember the ol’ hull slap to get them stirred back up again if you see them below you on your FF…
