So I am thinking of heading south this weekend where the water may be a tad warmer, and I am thinking of going to Alice which looks like a pretty small town, but the lake isn't tiny. I did read a report once of someone doing well there for bass and am wondering if it's a good place to go after all this cold weather?

I had never heard of it, so I google earthed it. Looks like a massive hydrilla bed, might be a challenge to fish, but most definitely let us know if you go.
