Anybody using a heated vest to stay warm

I see these advertised quite a bit-vests that have a usb port and different heat settings.
Wondered if they work as advertised and if you get them wet does it ruin the heating elements inside the vest.

I posted a while back about using a heated car seat insert. I know from experience that those really do make a chilly day MUCH more comfy! A vest would work too Im sure

I have both a DeWalt heated Jacket and a Milwaukee heated jacket. The DeWalt has a vest that generates the heat. Both of those are nice under a dry suit in the cold weather. Pick whichever one that you like that matches the tools that you like the most. Both of those units are machine washable (disconnect batteries of course). If you fall in with one plugged in, I think that you would expect it to no longer function. Note: Don't fall in.
Notice that a heated jacket or vest is probably used more in Wis than TX, but the older that I get comfort in outdoors is a beautiful thing.
