Due to weather obviously. I'd planned on fishing in but will happily fish it in better conditions. It will be rescheduled.

Didn't Pines get cancelled/moved last year too, might want to re-think the schedule

It did and they wound up having it in July. I didn’t get to fish it because of a prior commitment. I don’t like fishing tournaments when it’s that hot….

If anyone can predict the future weather when making a schedule months in advance in order to put together a full season, every tournament would go off without a hitch. In the 9 years of running 49-50 tournaments a season, we may have to postpone or reschedule 2-3 a season due to weather, and some seasons we haven't had to adjust at all, fortunately. It's Texas. I've seen February's where it's been great weather all month. Some February's, not so much. It is what it is.

thumb The only time I've ever had frostbite in my life was fishing a team tournament circuit in Louisiana on D'arbonne Lake. We launched and it was 14 degrees with a high of 22. Clear bluebird with about a steady 15 mph wind. I ran about 30 miles that day and actually stayed warm, but the very lower part of my face was exposed. I knew I felt a burning sensation after the weigh in. I got up the next morning in extreme pain. Sunburn in the worst-case scenario doesn't hurt anywhere as bad as frostbite.

No people need to get over the weather and go fishing long as roads are safe.

How were the roads up around pines today? By mid morning they were fine here, but not sure @5am. My driveway and back patio had snow/ice on them at 5 when I let the dogs out. I wouldn’t have taken the chance to drive to the lake this morning.
