Came across the jabber jaws for $7, a few bucks off the normal price. How do these stack up for you against traditional square bills? Gimmick?

I so far have only caught a few small fish on them- to me it’s a cross between a chatter bait and a squarebill. I still throw but probably won’t buy replacements when I end up losing the 3 that I have. I think I have the 6th sense and the 13 fishing one.

I've been wanting to give 'em a try. Thanks for the link, ordered a couple, see how they do.

I have a few of them, picked them up this past fall and they seem to work pretty good, I think the added noise and a little different action will have its place this spring.

I got a couple of them. They look really good but they're on the smallish side. I would say 1.5 to 2.0 size. The action is very good with a wider wobble than I suspected. Great hooks.

I really like the Jabber Jaw. But several at Academy this spring for $3. Have caught several nice fish with them. Lots of action and is good in off colored water or in thick cover. Runs a little shallower than a traditional 1.5 but I haven't tried adjusting the bill to make it run deeper. Don't know that I'd pay $12 for them routinely, but if they go back on sale I'll buy more. To me it is another shallow water tool. Besides anything that is a cross between a square bill and a chatterbait can't be all bad.

I haven't had the problem of them turning over at any retrieve speed. Maybe blade is bent?
