I haven't bought a new map chip in over 15 years. So was wondering what chip should I get fir.my hummingbird mega scan. That would also work with my Terrova.

The Terrova would have to be the iPilot LINK version to have any communication with a Humminbird display and its mapping. AND the mapping would have to be HD quality with any of the Lakemaster products, or self created mapping via built-in Auto Chart Live or the computer software Auto Chart or Auto Chart Pro. The HD mapping would give you the Follow-the-Contour feature that would control the Terrova via Ethernet.
