The front is through Mineola and Canton but hasn't made it to Lindale yet.

If there is one thing that my decades of watching East Texas weather tells me, it is that a Siberian airmass can race across the North Pole, barrel across all of Canada, blast through Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma and to the Red River like a Big Daddy Don Garlits in his funny car...but just as it gets to around Hawkins, Lindale, and Gladewater it will slow to a crawl. Carpenter ants and snails will outrace it as they head south. This one inch per hour pace will keep up until...until...until all or almost all of the precipitation has moved out of the area.

Then it will blow through and get cold, with bright clear skies.

Just south of Austin it is currently 60 degrees and rain just started in the past 15 minutes. Drove by the HEB at lunch and it was a madhouse. At least 3 deep at the fuel pumps and the entire parking lot is loaded.
