I just spent two days out there. My respect for what the guy puts in the net goes up with every hour I spend trying and failing to replicate what he does! Not easy!

I would not call your trip a Failure at all. You scoped fish and you made them bite. You just didn't get a big one.

No doubt Mr. Jones is a gifted angler and has a knack for putting himself around giants. All the truly gifted folks make it look much easier than it is. Much respect to him

I read where he planned to spend 2 or 3 more weeks there. However, he also posted where his 9 year old Lab and fishing partner crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly. I don't know about everybody else, but when my 14 year old Lab leaves this world, fishing is going to be the last thing on my mind for a while.
