if it ever happens again just calmly walk over to the front drivers tire of the offending vehicle and p all over his tire, growl and stare while doing this.

you can hang and wait for a reaction, if you can keep from falling over laughing.

When I see this and it's going to interrupt my day...I simply ask if they need help backing down. Not everyone is a pro and learning can be achieved if you're nice enough to train.

Don't need be a Richardhead every time I wait for someone.

You have to realize most people are stupid. You could have waited a couple minutes to launch and avoided that big mess.

a wise man has never spoken more true words !!! A huge percent of the boaters have no clue how to back down or load up . Vast majority will not have the ability to " pick a lane " --- they just go down the middle .

Now that I’m older, I just smile or laugh at idiots like that. A few years ago it may have escalated.

They do it all the time at 2 mile bridge Tawakoni west. One time I get back from fishing and there is a Tawakoni fire department truck with trailer in the water in the middle of the ramp and they are nowhere to be seen. My boat does not do well on the old ramp. I actually met a dude on a ramp at Lavon that was civil. I started backing down in the dark and when I got out to undo my transom tie downs I recommended that he turn his headlights off. He did and said he never thought about it.

Id have to agree with this sentiment.

If im a betting man, id also wonder if his buddy was likely apologizing because he was the one that did the backing...Might have just been doing his best to help...

I just patiently wait. Finish up the stuff I normally do when I get to the first spot. Pull out the rods, retie lures, lot's of stuff to do while waiting.

Walk a mile to avoid a fight, when one starts don't back down an inch.

By speaking loud enough for him to hear, you invited trouble.

I showed this thread to my neighbor and he said that^^ was passive-aggressive. Wanting greater clarity, I then asked him if it was general passive-aggressive OR passive-aggressive AF. He said it was the AF kind.

That’s my approach. Lol. One time a guy was mumbling [censored] at me and I turned my trolling on high a headed right into his boat. Jumped on his boat and was ready to knock his [censored] out. Then I realized my partner was in the back of my boat.. cruising right for a dock! I had to make friends real quick. I lose it sometimes. That evening, I had to think quick! Hahah. Luckily I think I scared him, as he looked like he could have kicked my [censored].
