Maybe the best thing that happened to Burrows was a reality check and not being the #1 QB at Ohio State. Sometimes adversity makes you a better person. Haskins was not that bad of a QB, but he just fit the scheme that was wanted there at the time.

Ohio St runs a power spread offense which sometimes relies on the QB to run it. LSU still ran a form of the spread but relied more on the QB’s ability to throw. LSU’s offense obviously suited him more.

Ohio St runs a power spread offense which sometimes relies on the QB to run it. LSU still ran a form of the spread but relied more on the QB’s ability to throw. LSU’s offense obviously suited him more. YOU THINK LOL maybe the best college football run in history. They went undefeated while beating 7 teams that were top ten teams before winning NC. I bet it was closer to what Bill Belichick said about Tom Brady, when asked how did he know how good Brady was going to be to take him at the 199 pick. Bill himself said if I had any idea he would be that good I would have taken him in the first round who wouldn't.

Offense scheme can take priority in college—Holloway over Aikman, Tebow over Newton, etc, etc.

He sat behind JT Barrett and then could not beat Dwayne Haskins for the starters job. He then transferred to LSU. He won the starting job and his first couple of games were not the best but he definitely improved the 2nd half of the season. His senior year he was great and had an amazing supporting cast of players around him.

If I had to sum up what I think will happen in this Super Bowl its this. Stafford thinks and hopes he can lead the Rams to the SB win. Burrow KNOWS he can lead the Bengals to the win.
