So I have to standard plug in on my Basscat from 2003. Can I just use that? Is there a male coupling that will take the Garmin wires? THe Garmin are very thick and wont fit into the one that came off my old TM. Or should I hard wire or buy a different plug?

I hardwired mine, have always hardwired.

ran new 6ga thru the pedal box.

I had to but a new plug.. I wanted new since mine was old..
