They messed it up when they moved the fishing barge. Ever since, the fishing and business has went downhill.

They have ruined the crappie fishing at the marinas they own on Lake Eagle Mountain. They hate anything to do with fisherman or fishing. I know first hand.

I'm in on a slip there. Due to renew next month. Same thing happened to us at Grapevine. Catering to the rich yacht folks.

Really seems to be a collaborative effort among many marina operators in the DFW area to run off the fisherman; not good for fishing.

Fishing brings in next to no money compared to the big boat owners. There are several people that rent slips just to fish at the same rate as a boat owner.

Thats a shame about all the marinas because when the business gets slow the fishermen are keeping things going with gas, bait, food, tackle, fishing passes and don't forget tournaments. The big boaters only do fair wheather days on the water but those high price slip rentals which there are a lot of fishernen who rent those too. They need to see the big picture just my thoughts any way we fishermen need to stick together.
