I have a Helix 9 Chirp Mega SI+ GPS G3N at the bow. My SI screen and DI screen basically all black. Ive had this boat a few weeks and I had this problem since I got it except for last week. Which was my first outing out after restoring defaults and updating the software to the newest version. 2d seems to work fine but I did notice today that I was getting some 10-13 ft depths intermitently when I was in 20-25ft of water compared to my console unit and Garmin 93SV hooked to livesope on the bow.

Helix 9 Chirp SI GPS G2n on the bow works fine now after restoring defaults and updating software at the same time as my bow unit.

Thanks in advance

When back out this weekend. Same issues but didn’t have a problem with the depth reading as before. Any ideas?

Is your depth range set on auto or manual? Try restoring defaults again

I finally got back on the water today. I restored defaults but for forgot to check wether my depth range was on auto or manual. Still had the same problem. I did switch my transducer to the transducer on the back of my boat and readings were perfect. I’m thinking I must have a transducer problem
