I dont think he takes anyone's spot, I think its added under the legend status....I would like to see how he does.

the rules have all changed since Roland fished Bass master. Which means calling up a friend, local guide or even his son is OUT. Disadvantage Roland.

Times have changed since Roland was competitive fishing, yes he could show up and catch fish but does he have the physical and mental requirements to safely operate a boat, drive across the nation, and still be competitive at his age? Only time will tell…

My understanding is the legends exemption doesnt take a spot.

Also, I though the no info rule for BASS doesnt include competitors. I remember last year’s classic Ronnie mention that Cherry and Mosely room together and probably share info.

Now I am pretty sure the MLF has a no info from everyone.

I dont think he would compete every week, but he may pull a Tom Watson once and surprise people. Im just too young to really remember him fishing and would enjoy it for a year.

If Roland is indeed "broke", more than likely he has a vice that is hidden from public view.

My first guess would be gambling...

Roland has plenty of cash.
