I think you could catch crappie just about anywhere you fish at. As always neat video and thanks for sharing. thumb

It is apparent that you have some Cajun blood flowing thru your veins. Having lived in South Louisiana for years , the locals catch Crappie from ditches , golf course ponds, gravel pits , swamps and even a lake or creek . Good video.

you know I was thinking he is alot like I was at his age, I would always wind up in places that nobody else seemed to go
.at around 12 years old alot of the adults in the neigborhood would stop by when they saw me, trying to get locations of where I was going when they saw what I was catching. I would pull a little flat boat on a cart made of 2x4s and bicycle wheels for 4 or 5 miles sometimes, then paddle thru the river battures and swamps to find new spots. I would paddle long pipeline canals for hours looking for fish. I found a little spot with brackish water that I could get to and come home with huge redfish ,. and a mess of black bass . not many places you can do this.
me and a buddy used to fish a spot that was so full of snakes we could not put our fish in the water because in a few minutes 3 or 4 snakes would be on them but we didnt care because it was loaded with black bass.
if anthony got cut loose in southeast lousiana, nobody would see him for weeks.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

That is very true! He’s catching crazy numbers and seems like there is a new creeks he’s checking out ever two or three days. Gotta go to know! I finally found a decent creek and I’ll be checking out more next week. Good read. Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I am full blown born and raised Texan. I just love to think outside the box and do my own thing. I grew up fishing without a boat and I had to figure them out from the banks and that is where my true passion is. Bank crappie fishing this time of year is an art and I take alot of pride in it.
