Here is the video from Thursday's trip! The monsters are out there but we were happy catching quality box fish on the river edges!

Kamil caught some nice fish today thumping and deadsticking and throwing swim baits!

Notaguide, no, I prefer to use live bait since it makes it easier to fish multiple rods. I also use topwater, swimbaits, slabs, deadsticking and trolling to catch striper.

Just curious. I prefer live bait as well but maybe it’s easier to get on Texoma

Depends on the time of year for sure! Right now they are in the coves so 1-2 throws and we are done…. Once they move into the deep water then it’s a 2-4 hour ordeal to catch them…

The bait that was shallow had disappeared and are suspended in the deep water. Fortunately Deadsticking and thumping is working! Ed from Ed’s Guide Service caught these!

The fish are super healthy and fat this year! The shad and the striper rebounded from the cold spell and shad kill!
