Went fishing on Belton yesterday for the last time until about March. I’ve had parts and paint delivered for the the top side of my old boat and keel guard for the bottom. I’ll start removing things this coming week and the goal is to have the boat refurbished before the run up river. I’ve watched video after video and read many articles of all the things I’m doing but I would much rather hear from people near me than complete strangers on a random video. My current question: My hull is dull and has a few small nicks and some holes in the back I’d like to patch. Can I get a gel coat that is close to matching the color and following those repairs what can I do to get the shine back in my hull? I have access to a couple marine stores near me and obviously the Internet. Any advice would be great as I dearly love this little boat and want to keep her happy, working well, and looking good.
Keep doin what youre doin, youll keep gettin what youre gettin.

You do indeed need to patch those dings up, old kenners are glass over plywood, they don't live long with water intrusion.
If that were my project, I'd fill the dings with marine tex, put a piece of packing tape over the repair, when it cures, it's a lot smoother. Then you can try to match gel color, (you'll never get exact) and cover the repair, sand and repeat until it's a nice smooth patch.
Call pro tec products and get a restore kit, you'll need a good orbital buffer. Use the compound, the polish then the sealer, it'll turn out like new.

Thank you Pat I’m going to do exactly that! I’ll post pictures when it’s done.
