For those of you that like to catch Bull Reds you don't have to travel far. Here is a few pics of fish we caught a Lake Calcasieu this week. We were blessed with three days of light winds and were able to travel the out to the levies. Wife caught the Big Ugly(Black Drum) off the dock. That was fun!

Looks like a lot o fun. Is that a Bluewave boat and if so how do you like it and how has it held up?
Homemade step to get on the front deck?

The boat is a 22ft Champion. And yes I made the step to the front deck. Age and bad knees made it necessary.
We had a blast for three days. Lots of Bull Reds and big Sheepshead.

Yep. I need a step also. Might keep you from broken bones and unintentionally swimming.

Calcasieu can be really good or really bad. Flounder is good in Nov. and Dec. It is really tough to find Specks in the winter months for me. Haven't been able to figure them out. Thought I found a bunch down by the levies but the current was to strong and didn't have the right setup to fight it. Any advice would be appreciated.
