The graph will show correct depth for a while then show depths of over a thousand feet...thought the transducer was going bad so I bought the cable and tied into the transducer on my ultrex..same issue...any ideas on how to fix the problem??

You can try setting the depth range to manual, set the range to about 10' deeper than the water your in, also turning off chirp

Low voltage can cause this sometimes but more commonly the problem comes from leaving your front graph on while running. This causes the unit to search for the bottom but can’t find it and it normally shows max depth because of this. Try putting your unit in standby while running which will stop it from trying to find bottom. If you have Mega 360 transducer selected then this isn’t necessary as it will stop automatically when the trolling motor is stowed.
