Happens every year. And yeah, the fishing is that good to risk it. Texas isn't in the same league as Wisconsin for fishing.

My Mom's from Wisconsin. I read that one of the great lakes has over 170 species of fish.

I have never iced fish before and I do not have any future plans to do so. Just my two cents.  Side Note: Glad no one got injured or killed.

Most Texans have never eaten walleye or yellow perch, they think crappie is the best fish to eat.
