Anyone in the DFW area, I would appreciate if you could keep an eye out on Marketplace, Letgo, pawn shops or anywhere else. My rods were all stolen last night in east Dallas.A Leviathan swimbait rod, several silver Abu rods, a Dobyns 8’9 Magnum swimbait rod, a Daiwa swimbait rod with cork handle, two Shimano Tranx 300s, a Daiwa Lexa Luna, several Daiwa Tatulas. Two rods had Deps 250s, one trout and one had a nose hook. $500 to anyone who can help me locate my stuff.

Just trying to catch em all.

I searched craigslist for the past 24 hrs (all craigslist sites) with a script, nothing. Hope you get lucky, would love to see that pos answer for their mistake. Breaking a rod is painful, even thinking about having my rods stolen makes my stomach hurt. If you need a few reels, and store grade rods to borrow to hold you over IM me. Don't have anything big for a swimbait, but if you need a extra I can loan you a couple for a bit.

I have been taking my electronics off the boat if i stop for something at a store. Idiots can do some quick work of a boat. But i run bodycams from the time i leave the house, to the return. Just for insurance, and so i at least have footage in case someone does some stupid stuff.

Sorry to hear,. I would put up a flyer on every post within 5 blocks of where it happened, with a 500$ reward someone knows something.

Hate that man. Freakin thieves are the scum of the earth. I've had my share of em. My room mate and I caught one of them red handed. He got a beating he'll never forget. And a nice 7 day vacation at a hospital.

Thanks Prosise. I'll be replacing the lost stuff, it just stinks doing it all at once. I got that gear over the years and some was my dad's. Hurts the wallet, but even more I hate that they might get away with it.

Maybe post on a couple swimbait pages on Facebook. That's where the idiots usually go to sell stolen stuff

Yeah, not many of those Leviathan rods out there yet. Like I said $500 to anyone who finds it. I'm almost more invested in confronting the thieves than getting my gear back at this point.

I am very sorry for your loss. Please tell me you didn't leave all of this equipmemnt in your boat overnight.

Be safe,

I hope you are as surprised as I was at the power of the fishermen. My truck was stolen with my fishing gear in it and my tools. I came straight to the forum and posted. Same day someone found my stuff on offer up..

CHECK ON OFFER UP. LOTS OF STOLEN MERCHANDISE SOLD THERE

I got about half of my stuff back, still lost my favorite jig setup and my tackle, but the rods and reels I did get back felt so so good. Don't think for once that this fishing community is not your best shot.
