My buddy uses a 36v for his Ultrex . He loves it. Too rich for my blood at this point. But if the price drops some I might think about it. I would love to loose the weight but the cost kills me. Plus I would still need a cranking and graph battery. I have three 27 size AGM now, two for a 24v trolling motor and one for the motor, ect. I have a 3 bank minn Kota charger so I will probably not change.

thought about it but will go with 3 12v when I go lithium. one 12v goes bad and I can still run the force on 24v, lose the 24 or 36v battery and you're done. also considering just using 24v on the force and changing graphs/livescope over to a dedicated lithium. I now have 3 grp 27 and a 24 for outboard, all dekas.

A single 24v or 36v works great until it don't. If it goes down then you're without until you get a replacement. With the 12v you can substitute a cheap lead acid until you get a replacement.
